At its May 12 meeting, the Trophy Club Town Council approved a significant financial move, transferring $3.06 million from the general fund to support capital expenditures through fiscal year 2029-30. This allocation includes $392,200 earmarked for the 2024-25 fiscal year. The funds are designated for future purchases of vehicles and equipment, ensuring the town’s infrastructure and services remain robust.
In addition to the funding decision, the council welcomed Garry Ash as the new Place 1 council member. Ash, a 20-year resident of Trophy Club, brings extensive experience in the construction industry and has previously served on the town’s Planning & Zoning Commission. His appointment fills the vacancy left by former council member Jeff Beach, who resigned in April.
