The City of Frisco has released unofficial final tallies from its May 3, 2025, elections, which included a General Election for City Council, a Special Bond Election, and a Special Charter Amendment Election. Voter turnout was modest, with Collin County reporting 10.89% participation and Denton County at 6.91%, according to CBS Texas.

In the City Council races for Places 2 and 4, no candidate secured a majority, triggering runoffs scheduled for June 7, 2025. For Place 2, the leading candidates garnered 32.8% and 20.5% of the votes, while Place 4 saw its top two contenders earn 41.8% and 34.7%, signaling a tight race that reflects diverse voter priorities.

The Special Bond Election brought split results for the proposed Center for the Arts project. Proposition A, which allows the use of sales tax revenue for the initiative, passed comfortably with 66.9% in favor. However, Proposition B, a $160 million bond issuance to fund the project, was rejected by 53.2% of voters, highlighting a community eager for cultural development but cautious about taking on additional tax burdens.
