McKinney, Texas, has officially welcomed West Grove, a transformative 52-acre mixed-use development at the southeast corner of U.S. Highway 380 and Custer Road. Developed by De La Vega Capital and Development, this ambitious project is now partially open, with several businesses already operating and more set to launch throughout 2025.
West Grove is designed as a walkable, open-air destination that blends retail, dining, entertainment, office space, and luxury residences. The development features 420 high-end apartment units, 55,000 square feet of office space, and a two-acre park, creating a vibrant community hub for residents and visitors alike.
The project is anchored by a 45,000-square-foot Whole Foods Market, marking the grocer’s first location in McKinney. Chick-fil-A has already opened its doors, and a diverse mix of retailers and restaurants are set to debut soon, including:
West Grove was developed through a public-private partnership with the City of McKinney, aiming to create a dynamic space where people can gather, connect, and enjoy enriching experiences. The development’s design, crafted in collaboration with architectural firms Gensler and GFF, emphasizes open-air spaces, vibrant outdoor decks, and lush landscaping.
As McKinney continues to experience rapid growth, with a population nearing 215,000 residents as of January 2024, West Grove stands as a testament to the city’s commitment to thoughtful, community-focused development.
