Highland Homes and Tellus Group are set to transform Prosper, Texas, with the introduction of Mirabella, a 190-acre gated residential community located at the corner of University Drive and Custer Road. This upscale development will feature approximately 285 luxury homes, with construction slated to commence this summer and sales beginning in late 2026.
Huntington Homes, the luxury division of Highland Homes, will be among the builders in Mirabella, offering residences on oversized lots. While final pricing is yet to be determined, initial estimates suggest starting prices around $1 million. The community is designed to provide residents with scenic hike-and-bike trails, a creek, mature tree canopies, parks, and open spaces, fostering a harmonious blend of luxury living and natural beauty.
Strategically positioned near McKinney, Frisco, and Plano, Mirabella offers convenient access to a variety of amenities and employment centers. Additionally, the community falls within the Prosper Independent School District, ensuring quality educational opportunities for residents.
Highland Homes, a Dallas-based builder with a 40-year history, constructs nearly 4,000 homes annually across Texas, including in nearly 40 communities within the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Tellus Group, known for developing Prosper’s Windsong Ranch, is also behind other significant projects such as Mosaic in Celina, Meraki in Forney, and Sherley Farms in Anna.
Jeff Stinson, Senior Vice President of Land for Highland Homes, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “We are excited to partner with a developer of Tellus’ caliber. We look forward to collaborating on a vision for this unique property and bringing it to life.” Andre Ferrari, Chief Operating Officer for Tellus Group, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the project’s prime location and the partnership’s potential to create one of the area’s most sought-after neighborhoods.
As Mirabella prepares to break ground, it promises to enhance Prosper’s residential landscape by offering luxury homes within a thoughtfully designed community that embraces the area’s natural features.
