Dallas-based multifamily developer JPI has announced plans for its third affordable housing project in McKinney, Texas. The upcoming development, named Jefferson Terry, is a collaborative effort with the McKinney Housing Authority, aiming to address the city’s growing need for affordable housing options.
Situated at the southeast corner of University Drive and Terry Lane, Jefferson Terry will encompass 393 residential units across four four-story buildings. The complex is designed to offer a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, catering to a diverse range of residents. Amenities planned for the community include a dog park, swimming pool, arcade, and fitness center, enhancing the living experience for future tenants.
This $104 million project underscores JPI’s commitment to expanding affordable housing in McKinney. It follows the company’s previous developments in the area, including Jefferson Verdant and Jefferson Trails, both of which have contributed significantly to the local housing landscape.
